Carter Holt Harvey (CHH) is looking for an experienced health andsafety leader to join our team. This is a multifaceted and vital role withinour business. Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, you will be workingalongside our site managers, site EHSR advisors and coordinators, lead teams, frontlineleaders and production staff. You will also work closely with the nationalenvironmental manager and the national compliance manager.The role:Tolead the creation and delivery of a safe working strategy consistent with our standards, guiding principles and complying withapplicable NZ legislationTo be the source of expert knowledge to drive ongoing improvementin the EHSR spaceWorkwith the business to drive change and deliver sustained improvementFacilitatethe effective delivery and documentation of all site EHSR measures andcompliance including auditsToensure clear, appropriate and timely high level EHSR communications across alllevels of the businessProvidementoring and coaching in the EHSR disciplinesDeliverprogress updates and reports to senior managementDevelopa genuinely positive and energetic safe behaviour culture nationwideThis is not a step-up role as you will be required to lead theEHSR strategy to support the business. Therole can be located at one of our Kawerau or Tokoroa sites or in our Aucklandoffice, however regular overnight travel to our sites will be required, and afully maintained company vehicle is included. Relocation assistance will beavailable to the right person.
