Iplex Pipelines NZ is a leading manufacturer and supplier of plastic pipeline systems in New Zealand. Iplex manufactures and supplies pipeline systems for a diverse range of applications including Water Supply, Sewerage, Plumbing, Gas, Stormwater, Irrigation, Rural, Telecommunications, Electrical, Mining, and Industrial. Iplex NZ operates manufacturing/distribution facilities located in Palmerston North, Christchurch and Ashburton.
The National EHSQ Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the EHSQ management systems to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. This role is crucial in promoting a safe and sustainable workplace while ensuring high quality plastic pipe production and associated fittings across Iplex's Manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement EHSQ policies, procedures, and programs.Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with EHSQ standards.Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.Provide EHSQ training and support to employees.Monitor and report on EHSQ performance metrics.Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.Promote a culture of continuous improvement in EHSQ practices.What we are looking for: Bachelor's degree in EHS, quality management, or a related field.Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in EHS and quality management within a manufacturing environment or similar.Strong knowledge of EHSQ regulations and standards (including ISO 9001 (QMS), ISO 14001 (ENVIRO), ISO 45001 (OH&S), ISO 17025 (LAB)).Strong cross-functional stakeholder management with both internal parties and external parties such as suppliers and auditing bodies.Proven ability to lead a team and engage and influence at all levels within the business.Ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights.If you are a highly motivated EHSQ leader with a passion for driving operational excellence, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
