Management - Vocational (Education & Training)Fit Futures Academy was established in 2013 and since then we have trained thousands of industry professionals who are now working in key positions across New Zealand, Australia, and around the world.The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic leader to join the FFA team as our National Education Manager. The NE Manager will deliver excellence in our accredited and non-accredited training programs and be responsible for all aspects of course management, curriculum development, and compliance standards.As the NE Manager, you will report directly to the MD and be responsible for managing the day-to-day and strategic operations of the Education team and will:Promote Fit Futures Academy and work with the head office team to grow and establish our brand as a leading fitness course provider for career development training here in New Zealand and in our Australian and UK offices.Manage and maintain CPD Courses and Endorsement for our qualifications.Maintain high professional standards for the design and curriculum development of quality training and courses.Monitor the quality of tutor training and assessment via industry consultation, validation, and student feedback.Manage a team of qualified and experienced Tutors and Assessors by providing continual guidance and instruction.Help to increase student enrolments throughout the company's strategic growth plan within the desired periods.About the RoleManage quality compliance and risk, including internal audits of all processes and procedures in accordance with industry requirements, contractual obligations, and training risk management and quality frameworks.Oversee the delivery of engaging training in a hybrid and/or blended environment for a range of learner abilities (Both Online and On-Campus).Conduct Training and Assessments in line with Professional Standards, Code of Ethics and all Training Package requirements.Manage a team of tutors/assessors by modeling quality practice and continuous improvement to ensure the achievement of individual and company goals.Monitor all records within our learning portal and prepare and complete the Annual internal business quality assurance declaration.Lead industry and stakeholder consultation to facilitate relationship building and collaboration between relevant stakeholders for successful placement.Support tutor/assessor continuing professional development and contribution by the FFA team to career development practice, articles, and research for students and the community.Work with all other departments to maintain and develop new and existing stakeholder relationships.Work with the Operations Administration team to ensure compliance to provide the required level of support for all FFA staff and students.Ensure adherence to timelines on student assessments and policies and procedures of the company.Any other duties, projects, and regular reporting reasonably requested that contribute to the success of the organisation.Development of new and innovative online and face-to-face accredited and non-accredited courses.The position requires a highly self-motivated person who has a demonstrated high level of initiative and a strong interest in providing excellent customer service to organisations and participants. This person must be able to operate effectively and collegially in an environment characterised by frequent change, short timeframes, and competing demands. This position requires a strong desire to be part of a dynamic and innovative team environment with a commitment to implement and uphold the ethos of Fit Futures Academy for Career Education.Position Requirements, Knowledge, and Experience3+ years' experience in a similar management or senior role.Extensive knowledge of Organisational Compliance matters relating to ongoing Industry Registration.Proven ability to manage and lead tutors and assessment staff.Ability to oversee all qualifications, extension to scope projects, accredited and non-accredited workshops, and undertake validation.Experience ensuring the quality of delivery of training and assessment.Able to mentor tutors and assessors in quality training in a blended environment for a range of learner abilities.Ability to conduct Performance Reviews and Performance Management of all direct reports in relation to training organisation management.Capable of designing and supporting the development of Strategic Plans for a training organisation.Competent in the use of online platforms such as Moodle, VETrak, Cloud Assess, or other LMS.High Level communication skills both oral and written and experience managing a range of staff skill sets to ensure that professional conduct is maintained at all times.Extensive networks in the Fitness Industry and Community Further Education.Proven ability in an online learning environment and instructional design.Ability to work autonomously and lead a team.Extensive experience in the delivery of careers education assessment and reporting.Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety and Risk Assessments.High level time management and organisational skills as well as acute attention to detail and accurate records for Regulatory Bodies compliance requirements.Commitment to lifelong learning.Essential Qualifications and CertificationsA real-life understanding of the fitness industry and requirements on its training package.Masters or Graduate Certificate Level, preferred but not essential.Bachelor's Degree (A Must) in the Health, Wellness, and/or Education space.Full New Zealand drivers' licence.Current Working with Children Check and Clear National Police Check.If you're interested in applying for the role, send a CV and a brief cover letter via Seek.
