National Coordinator - Adverse Events

Event Management (Marketing & Communications) Federated Farmers is the highly influential national voice of rural New Zealand, representing farmers who help generate over 50% of New Zealand's exports. Federated Farmers' role is invaluable to the rural sector, wider community, and to our economy. Partnering with the Chief Executive, this role is responsible for the operational delivery of the Adverse Events Programme. This involves building readiness capability and supporting the operational response and recovery to events and can include tactical deployment in the field. Critical to this role is building strong relationships with our farmer network, emergency management agencies and teams, and other key stakeholders. Equally important is fundraising to support the programme. In downtime, there will be opportunities to support some of our industry groups with their activity.
