Given this success in our existing markets, Shark Ninja has embarked on a bold plan for growing APAC business, in which ANZ plays a critical role. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a National Account Manager to join our team. This role will be based in Auckland. Overview The National Account Manager in New Zealand is responsible for increasing market share and sales by developing and leading strategic joint business plans with key Electrical and Department store customers. This dynamic role involves fostering strong customer relationships and driving growth through the oversight of assortment strategy, pricing, and promotional plans. You'll be at the forefront of creating and implementing strategies that leverage sales-related insights, industry standards, and new developments to ensure alignment and encourage continuous growth. Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll get to do: Develop and lead annual joint business plans with several of our key customers. Sell and lead the assortment strategy, pricing and promotional plan for several key customers in the Electrical and Department store channel. Devise strategies that harness sales-related insights, prevailing standards, and novel developments to encourage sales and share growth. Develop and foster strong working relationships broadly across the customer organization. Ensure good customer service by addressing and ensuring the timely resolution of customer issues. Work closely with the marketing, customer service and demand planning teams to champion your customers' growth and ensure the highest customer service. Lead the product knowledge and training process for our customers' instore staff. Provide analysis and reporting on metrics such as weekly/monthly sales by department, new product sell-through and promotion effectiveness. Willingness to lead an expanded customer base and growth opportunities as new customers/channels are identified. ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS: Experience: 3-5 years National Account Management experience. Prior experience in the Electrical channel. Strong communication & interpersonal skills. Proven track record of budget delivery and sales growth. Strong analytical skills and comfort with numerical data. Solid understanding of customer commercials and trade finance. Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. High level of attention to detail including a proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities. Creative and strategic thinker with a strong customer orientation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, thriving in matrix environments and adept at building relationships with different stakeholders.
