DutiesWe have a client of ours based in Taihape that is looking to offer some occasional respite care to a family, a solo parent with two boys aged 6 and 7.
B6 is autistic, so needs a caregiver that can be supportive of his additional needs and behaviours.
Care would take place in your home on a casual as available basis.
The majority of the care would be during weekend hours - and of course based on your availability.
The role would start with a few hours on a weekend to build trust and rapport and then would be for a full day and then to an overnight.
You would be paid $30 an hour for every hour - and through the night.
