Duties We have a client in Taihape looking to offer occasional respite care to a solo parent with two boys aged 6 and 7.
One boy is autistic and requires a caregiver who can support his additional needs and behaviors.
Care would take place in your home on a casual basis, primarily during weekends and based on your availability.
The role would begin with a few hours on a weekend to build trust and rapport, eventually leading to full days and overnight care.
You would be compensated at $30 an hour for all hours worked, including overnight.
