A permanent part time opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Music Technician to join our Hawkes Bay IDEAschool in a 0.6FTE capacity. Reporting through to our Acting Head of School, IDEAschool this position is a pivotal role within our organisation.Key Responsibilities Provide high quality technical support across the music disciplines within IDEAschool Manage music equipment installation, repairs, maintenance and certification requirements Manage staff and student access to music rooms and equipment Implement effective music area induction and provide a safe learning environment for staff and students Our Ideal Candidate Should ideally have an appropriate tertiary qualification but relevant experience in the music industry is essential. Knowledge and experience working with a range of music equipment and associated software, recording and performance situations Understanding and commitment to workplace health, safety and wellbeing Well-developed oral, written and interpersonal skills Have a clean drivers license
