The Role / PersonThe South Canterbury Museum is a treasured community resource!
We are seeking a versatile and proactive Museum Technician to join our team.
This role provides essential technical support across key Museum programmes, ensuring high-quality delivery of exhibitions, collection storage, education and public initiatives, and building maintenance.This role requires technical competence in woodwork, metalwork, and maintenance, alongside attention to detail and the ability to handle fragile objects with care.
Health and Safety monitoring is also a key part of the role.

Additional hours may be required for events such as exhibition changeovers.
The hourly rate for this role is $30.62 - $31.54.
