What You'll Do
As a Mower Operator, you'll be the hands-on expert keeping Queenstown's green spaces looking pristine. Imagine starting each day with the breathtaking views of Queenstown's parks and reserves as your "office"—your role will include:
Operating ride-on mowers to keep local parks, reserves, and cemeteries in top condition.
Carrying out weed eating, edging, and push mowing to ensure every detail is sharp and polished.
Performing basic maintenance on equipment, so everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Meeting high standards of presentation, exceeding client expectations with each task.
During the quieter mowing season, you'll assist other teams with various tasks beyond mowing, so flexibility and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed is essential.
Who We're Looking For
Ideally, we'd love someone with experience using a range of small plant equipment and/or ride-on mowers, but that's not a deal-breaker. If you have a strong work ethic and a passion for working outdoors, you'd be a great fit. You should also have:
A full, current driver's license with manual capability (Class 2 is a plus).
A strong work ethic and pride in a job well done.
Physical fitness to handle the demands of weed eating and push mowing.
Basic computer skills for operating equipment and reporting.
Dedication to health and safety standards.
A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
