Motorhome Auto Electrician / Rv Technician

As a Motorhome Auto Electrician / RV Technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, and repairing DC and AC electrical systems and accessories in motorhomes. Your role involves ensuring the functionality and safety of electrical components, including inverters, boosters, chargers, Battery Management Systems (BMS), rearview cameras, TVs with Satellite Dishes, and more. You will work closely with the Workshop Manager and perform tasks in both the Installation and Service fields, supporting the Service Advisor on day-to-day operations.
Key Accountabilities:
Installation of DC and AC Accessories
Inspection and Testing
Wiring Repair and Replacement
Electrical Breakdowns
Performance Testing
Diagnostic Tools and Electronic Faults
Issue Reporting
Electrical Advice and Support
Collaboration with Service Advisor
General Support
Qualification and Requirements:
Relevant certification or degree in auto electrical systems or AC electrician or a related field.
Previous experience as an auto electrician, preferably in the motorhome or RV industry.
Strong knowledge of DC and AC electrical systems, accessories, and diagnostic tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
EWRB NZ license
