The role The role involves full mechanical repairs to a variety of motorcycle brands including on-road and off-road motorcyclesFault finding and diagnostic workGeneral maintenance and servicingWhile most of the customer interaction takes place through the customer support team for more complex technical issues, there is an element of customer contact involved in your role. As a result, good general communication skills are preferred but not essential.
The skills needed
An automotive trade qualification equivalent to the level 4 national certificate is required. Some consideration may be given to applicants who hold equivalent experience in place of a national certificate, but it is essential you hold the practical skills and employment history of a motorcycle technician.
Remuneration
The role is full time offering a minimum of 40 hours per week. High hourly rates from $32 to $36 per hour are payable in line with skills and experience held. The work environment is excellent and there is further scope for advancement for those with the desire and potential to grow their careers.
