Position Summary:

Title: Motor Vehicle Parts Fitters
Wage: $30.00 per hour
Location:  Penrose, Auckland
Employment Type: Permanent
Hours of Work: 45 hours per week, from Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:30pm. An employee may be required to work on weekend and up to 52 hours per week.  Guaranteed hours of work is 30 hours per week.

 
Tasks include:
·         Fit and replace parts and accessories on motor vehicles
·         Install and replace a variety of vehicle parts and accessories, including batteries, stereos, alarms, and sunroofs
·         Remove damaged parts, prepare vehicle surfaces, and fit new components
·         Replace and seal windscreens, windows, and trim, ensuring a secure and proper fit
·         Repair and fit exhaust systems, including mufflers, pipes, and mounting brackets
·         Service and replace cooling system parts, such as radiators, water pumps, and thermostats
·         Inspect, repair, and refit tyres, and balance wheels using advanced equipment
·         Operate pneumatic tools and equipment for efficient tyre changes and fittings
To be successful in this position, our ideal candidate will have:
·         At least one year of relevant experience
·         A current NZ driver's license.
·         Flexibility to work all shifts including weekends and public holidays (as may be required)
