Motor Mechanic

The role will include, but not limited to:

Inspecting Vehicles: Examine motor vehicles to determine the extent of damage or malfunction.
Diagnosing Issues: Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify mechanical and electrical problems in vehicles.
Repairing Engines and Systems: Repair, overhaul, and replace components like engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering systems, and exhausts.
Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake adjustments, and fluid refills.
Testing and Adjustments: Test vehicles to ensure that repairs were successful, and systems are functioning properly.
Replacing Parts: Replace worn, damaged, or defective parts with new or reconditioned parts.
Advising Customers: Discuss vehicle issues and repair solutions with customers and provide cost estimates.
Maintaining Records: Keep records of repairs, parts replaced, and time spent on each job for reporting and invoicing.
Adhering to Safety Standards: Ensure all repairs comply with safety and environmental standards, particularly in handling hazardous materials like oil or batteries.
Keeping Updated: Stay informed about new technology and mechanical systems in modern vehicles.

Job pre-requisites:

At least 3 years full-time motor mechanic working experience with verified evidence.
Attention to detail and a hard-working attitude.
Physically capable to perform heavy work and able to work overtime.
Excellent work ethic and great time management; passion for the industry.
The successful candidate must not have any criminal convictions.
