About the roleAs a Modern Desktop Engineer at Vector you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of onsite responsibilities, and will have a high level of direct interaction with Vector employees and contractors in order to:Deliver top-tier customer service to the businessManage device and software provisioning, and providing expert technical support for end-user devices and desktop and mobile productivity applicationsEnsure the efficient operation of designated sites or regions and in our flagship TechPoint walk up facilityHave the opportunity coordinating the efforts of onsite agents across multiple locations, enabling the optimization of our desktop environment. Who we are looking forYou will be an experienced desktop engineer with excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills, along with:A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.3+ years' experience in desktop engineering supporting Windows-based operating environmentsExperience with Azure AD, Office 365 and Microsoft IntuneProficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation, optimization, and troubleshooting of desktop configurationsUnderstanding and implementation of security principles, practices, and tools for securing desktop systems, including endpoint security solutions.Proven experience in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Microsoft Teams meeting room systems within an enterprise environment would be advantageous.What we can offer youWe love working together to create a new energy future.
