Modem Technician - New Plymouth

Our client is an industry-leading company committed to delivering exceptional services in the electrical and utilities fields. We are currently seeking skilled trade assistants and those interested in the electrical industry to start up on a long-term project in New Plymouth.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the installation of Modems in smart meter boxes on residential and commercial properties, upgrading the buildings' existing network from 2g to 4g. You will work independently completing and logging the installations allocated to you on a daily basis. This is project-based work and is estimated to run for 1 year or until all modem installations have been completed. We have multiple roles available nationwide on both north and south islands.

What you'll need to succeed:

First Aid Certificate
Drivers' licence and vehicle
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work unsupervised
High attention to detail and comfortably using a smartphone
Basic hand tools
