About the Role
We're looking for a well-rounded Mixed Vet with at least 2 years of practical experience in large or mixed animal work to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and grow our companion animal clinic, while still engaging in farm work primarily focusing on dairy cattle, with some sheep and beef.
Why Join Us?

Supportive Environment: Be part of a close-knit team of three experienced farm vets in Taupiri and help us grow our developing companion animal clinic.
Professional Development: Whether you already have experience in companion animal care or are eager to learn, we'll support your growth with training and development through our larger companion animal hospitals.
Prime Location: Work in a centrally located Waikato town, just a short commute from Hamilton, allowing you to enjoy both the tranquility of rural life and the amenities of the city.

What You'll Bring

Expertise in Dairy Medicine: Your skills in dairy cattle medicine will be highly valued, supported by our team's knowledge in Mastitis, Reproduction, and Nutrition.
Proactive Approach: You'll have the chance to lead and develop the companion animal side of the clinic, with plenty of support and resources.
Client Engagement: As a confident communicator, you'll build strong relationships with our clients, both farmers and pet owners.

What We Offer

Competitive Salary & Benefits: Enjoy a competitive package, including a 4x4 double cab ute, a generous on-call roster, and ongoing mentoring from our experienced veterinary team.
Career Growth: We pride ourselves on being a progressive practice, offering significant opportunities to the right people.
