We have a full-time opportunity for a motivated, experienced, customer-focused driver looking for secure work with a company that values its team and has an impeccable safety record. This position can lead to further opportunities with a great future if of interest. The successful applicant will work in a friendly, fast-paced team environment. We are looking for a 'people person' who understands the importance of customer service and maintaining great customer relations, where customers become friends. There will be a lot of customer interaction. A current Dangerous Goods endorsement is essential along with a minimum of class 2 and a clean driver's licence. We'll train you for DG if required. Key attributes: Must be neat and tidy and interact well with customers. A positive attitude and commitment to the success of the business. Organisational skills with a high degree of written and verbal communication. Understanding of machinery (mini tankers) and capability to maintain a safe working environment. Be physically fit and capable, and be prepared to work. Be confident with paperwork, handheld tablet, numeracy, and quality documentation. Responsibilities: Responsibilities are not limited to and will include: Deliver petroleum products to customers on-site and to our own company sites around the Auckland region. Some overnight travel may be required from time to time if on Aviation - NI. Diesel/petrol delivery direct to our clients with lots of customer interaction. Deliveries to our own sites. Also, Jet fuel deliveries to our Aviation sites around the North Island. Maintain a high standard of health and safety and quality assurance - loading fuel tankers at terminal, working to a delivery schedule, keeping tankers and work site clean and tidy, and other duties as required. The successful applicant will be someone who is safety-focused, takes pride in their work and truck, can complete their work to a high standard, and has a can-do attitude, being flexible to meet the demands of our operation and customers.
