We are a busy secondary care maternity unit, overseeing 1250 births per annum, with a full range of secondary obstetric services. We provide a supportive medical team and colleagues in a friendly hospital that is big enough to offer clinical variety but small enough to provide great team relationships. You will be responsible for:
Provision of clinical midwifery services in accordance with the Midwifery Council scope of practice
Provision of primary and secondary maternity services as part of our inter-disciplinary clinical teams
Being committed to maintaining clinical skills in accordance with organizational best practice guidelines
Being committed to continuous quality improvement activities
You should have:
Current New Zealand Registration and Annual Practicing Certificate Midwifery Certificate
Recent clinical experience in midwifery practice
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with all stakeholders
Commitment to being a team player

Awhe utu / Salary range
Salary range: $79,261 to $108,008 pro-rated to hours worked
