Midwife, Horowhenua Maternity Unit at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral, Manawatu / Whanganui Based in LevinDo you have an interest for Primary Midwifery care?We have an opportunity for you!MidCentral are offering Registered Midwife positions at Kohungahunga Maternity Unit which is a 4 bedded unit located at Horowhenua Health Centre in Levin, approximately 50 km south of Palmerston North.
We are sole charge, midwifery led and dedicated to labour and postnatal stays.
Whilst working in partnership with their LMC, our Midwives provide postnatal care for women of our communities, plus intrapartum support to LMCs.
We aspire to having a workforce reflective of the community we serve achieving equitable outcomes for all.We are looking for enthusiastic Registered Midwives with a current APC willing to work rostered rotating duties covering 24 hours a day/7 days per week.
Full time or part time roles are available.Kohungahunga Maternity Unit is BFHI accredited, and our Midwives are passionate about supporting women and whanau during this time.New Graduate Midwives who wish to work in primary care are welcome to apply.
