A night shift allowance of $20 per shift will be paid for any nights worked.As a Metal Fitter/Machinist, you will be responsible for:Reading engineering drawings and specifications to determine requirements.Fitting fabricated metal parts as per plant requirements.Cutting, threading, bending and installing hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines.Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance on plant equipment.Installation of new equipment.QualificationsFor this role, you'll need:Trade certification qualification NZQA level 4 minimum.4 years of experience in the trade preferred (3 years essential).Strong knowledge of building trades, cleaning procedures and maintenance practices.Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.Competent computer literacy skills, with capability in email, MS Office, MS Teams, Deputy etc.Additional InformationWith Talley's, you get:Great working conditionsTraining providedGear and PPE providedFree on-site parkingStaff accommodation optionsAbout Talley'sTalley's is a multi-division, international company that's proudly New Zealand owned and operated, bringing the best New Zealand seafood, mussels, vegetables, and ice cream products locally and to the world.
