Enterprise Recruitment is working alongside leaders in the building service industry in New Zealand. Due to the continual growth in this market, our client - a New Zealand owned and operated building service maintenance provider - is looking for 3 Metal Fabricators/Welders to join their growing team.
Successful candidates must be willing to travel between Hawkes Bay, Manawatu-Whanganui and Wellington, depending on the client's needs.
Accommodation and relocation costs will be covered by the client for the first two weeks of assignment.

Monday to Friday 8am-5pm.Work for a recognised and successful kiwi companyTo be successful for this role, you need to have the following skills and 3 years' verifiable work experience: Perform arc & mig mild steel welding in a workshop environmentRead and interpret engineering drawings and dimensionsWork off site to install heavy and mild SteelFabricate and repair metal products using a variety of welding techniquesCreate a variety of mild steel products in vertical ups, horizontal and overhead styles of weldingIn addition to the above, the right candidate must be able to perform the following tasks: Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirementsSelecting, cleaning and preparing metal stockCutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machinesShaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammeringAligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instrumentsJoining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and rivetingExamining welds for width of bead, penetration and precisionFinishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutionsCleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiselling and grindingIf you think you have the skills, experience and work ethic we are looking for, please click the APPLY button and send your CV.
