Location:East Tamaki, Auckland
Type: Full time/Permanent
Pay range: $30 – $35/hr
Days: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
Hours: Guaranteed at least 30 hours, standard 39 hours per week
The Company:We are a New Zealand owned business and a leading manufacturer in the trailer industry, known for producing high-quality trailers that serve various purposes. We take pride in craftsmanship, innovation, and dedication to meeting the needs of our customers. As the company continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Metal Fabricator for the team.
Key Responsibilities:Handle the full fabrication process – from measuring and interpreting blueprints to final assembly.MIG and Arc welding.Use workshop equipment and follow procedures efficiently.Inspect and identify defects to ensure quality standards are met.Handle machine components and ensure precision for every step.Teach, train, and mentor as the team expands.To be successful in this role, you will have:At least 3 years relevant work experience in a similar role.Strong attention to detail with excellent technical skills.Experience reading and reviewing drawings to ensure precision.Machining skills and experience with workshop equipment.Capability to work independently with great time management.Desire to grow within the company.The ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.A clean police report with no charges pending.If you're looking for a role that offers variety, the chance to work on interesting projects, and the opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive environment, we want to hear from you!
