Known internally as Operational Readiness Coordinator, your role will be to ensure the joint readiness of Project, Maintenance and Operational teams to transfer new assets to the custody of Operations, and for Operations to accept custody and operate the new assets at their specified performance levels.
The purpose of the role is to facilitate, and to meet the objectives of the business by ensuring completed projects meet all business objectives.
This is an exciting opportunity where you will experience a variety of work on some of NZ's critical infrastructure, Waikato River Hydro Stations, Geothermal Stations and Wind Farms with many more exciting projects in the pipeline.
This role has the flexibility to be based in our Hamilton or Rotorua Offices or at one of our Hydro or Geothermal Generation sites along the Waikato River or in the Central North Island.
Key responsibilities include: Ensure all relevant documentation, OEM Manuals, Operational SOP's and Maintenance Instructions, and Drawings are received and stored appropriately.Develop or update FMECA based Maintenance tactics into CMMS based on changes to plant and equipment.Facilitate engagement between Projects and Operational teams before, during and after handover.Participate in Commissioning and handover activities and work with Projects and Operations to complete punch lists.Attend and participate in Design and Commissioning workshops, Spares reviews and Training requirement assessments.We are looking for: Maintenance trade qualification or equivalent engineering experience with greater than 10 years' experience.Demonstrated knowledge of planning, scheduling and budgeting in CMMS - Maximo.Demonstrated knowledge of Preventative Maintenance (PM), Job Plans (JP) and Standard Operation Procedures development.Practical knowledge of Generating Assets - Geothermal, Wind and Hydro Power Stations or an interest to learn.Deep knowledge of Asset Management fundamentals - specifically Maintenance Planning and Scheduling.Mercury offers (full benefits are listed on our Career Page): Additional 5 days leave per annum (MyDays)$400 one off tax-free payment towards setting up your home officeA diverse workplace where your unique abilities and talents will be recognised and encouragedAnnual salary reviews with excellent parental leave policy, with the option to purchase additional leaveThe opportunities, career paths and facilities associated with working for one of New Zealand's largest multi-utility providersFlexible working policy - The autonomy and trust to work flexibly from our purpose-built premises and from home, recognising the value of this flexibility in the modern worldDiscounted health insurance and free life and income insuranceExcellent well-being programme including up to $100 annual check ups and confidential assistance programmeGender affirmation leave and supportive bereavement leave to be taken when you lose anyone close to you, including your petMercury is a learning organisation that is committed to providing you with opportunities to grow and develop that will benefit you now and in the future.
