Job Description As a Merchandise Planner for our Office & Tech space, you will be instrumental in driving product availability and delivering on financial KPIs. You'll work closely with the buying team to forecast trends, analyse sales performance, and ensure stock flow meets customer demands. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you'll bring your commercial insight and planning expertise to shape our category success. With strong financial acumen, assortment building skills and a real commercial mindset, you'll work collaboratively to drive optimisation and manage the product lifecycle process, whilst being consistently on top of trends and performance. Key responsibilities include: Working with the Buyers on a range of assortment plans, controlling markdowns and category spend Setting budgets and reviewing forward plans Analysing product performance trends and making recommendations for improvement Improving stock-flow & product lifecycle management maximising our Stock ROI Demand planning/forecasting – includes impacts of promotional activity Interpreting data into a clear narrative & actionable outcomes – story telling Communicating data and strategy to key stakeholder Qualifications You understand retail and merchandise planning; you always have customers front of mind and can interpret data into stories, translate customer mission strategies into actionable decisions that deliver results.
