The Role: Merchandise Planner Working in close partnership with the Buyer and reporting to the Senior Planner, this pivotal role is responsible for range planning, managing stock and analysis; and is located at our Support Office in Ellerslie. The emphasis of the role is on maximising sales and profit, minimising markdowns through accurate forecasting, management of OTB and manipulation of store and ecommerce stock levels. A key objective will be the development of learnings through analysis that can be applied to the following season's buy. Experience and Skills Required: A minimum of 3 years' experience in retail Planning (ideally apparel) A passion for data analysis and an analytical approach to range planning Meticulous attention to detail Advanced level Excel skills A trading mentality is essential. Additional Skills: Effective time management and organisational skills Be a problem solver. Clear and effective verbal and written communication Hit the ground running! The ability to pivot and change with the moving deadlines.
