Position Overview: Due to expansion, we are seeking dedicated and empathetic Mental Health Support Workers to join our client's team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong passion for helping others and will be responsible for providing direct support and assistance to individuals with mental health challenges. These are permanent full-time and part-time roles.
Key Responsibilities: Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties.Assist clients in developing coping strategies and life skills to manage their mental health effectively.Set and achieve agreed goals and activities of daily living.Assist with housework, meal preparation, and personal care.Monitor and document client progress and report any concerns to the appropriate supervisor.Skills Required: Compassionate and non-judgmental attitude towards individuals with mental health challenges.Previous experience providing personal care is preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions with clients.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Full and clean driver's licence.Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.Wellness day and birthday leave.Sick leave entitlements after three months of service.Be part of a supportive and collaborative work environment that really makes a difference.How to Apply: Please submit your resume and a cover letter by clicking the link.
