Mental Health Professional - Anxiety DisordersAre you a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Clinical Psychologist, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist with experience in Specialist Mental Health Services?Mo te tunga | About the roleA great opportunity has become available for you to be part of the team at the Anxiety Disorders Service.The Anxiety Disorders Service (ADS) provides assessment and treatment to Tangata whaiora who have a primary diagnosis of an Anxiety Disorder. We are seeking a registered, experienced Mental Health Professional to join our team.Pehea | About YouYou will become an integral member of our dynamic multidisciplinary team, comprised of a Consultant Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologists, Clinical Nurse Therapists, Pukenga Atawhai, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Registrar, Physiotherapist, Psychology Interns, and administration staff.This position offers you an opportunity to further develop your clinical practice and gain valuable experience in this specialist area. You will be part of a team providing assessment as well as individual and group Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for people who experience anxiety disorders.This is a 0.6FTE fixed-term position for 12 months.You will be an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse, Clinical Psychologist, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist, with a current NZ practicing certificate.As an experienced mental health professional, you will bring skills in psychiatric assessment and case management.A relevant qualification in CBT and skills/experience using CBT in both individual and group formats in your work with clients is required.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage a wide variety of people is paramount in this role.The successful applicant will receive regular supervision and would be mentored by staff experts in utilizing cognitive behavioural treatment for a range of anxiety disorders.
