Etu Pasifika Clinics prides itself on delivering 'Clinically Led, Culturally Anchored and Family Driven services'.The Role:Etu Pasifika is looking for an experienced Mental Health Lead (Ngalu Fanifo Lead) to support Pacific families and communities achieve health targets by delivering safe, high-quality support services at our Christchurch clinic. This role is Full-time on a Fixed-term contract, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. If you're an excellent Mental Health Lead with a great attitude and skill set, then we have a job for you.Qualifications:A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable,Relevant Level 7 qualification, e.g., in Health, Social Work, Counselling, or Mental Health,Minimum of two years clinical experience working in Mental Health,Minimum of three years management experience,Change management and leading teams experience.Essential to the Role:A clean, current full Driver's Licence is essential,NZ Citizenship or Permanent Residency or have a valid NZ work permit.Responsibilities:To provide Mental Health support to families enrolled with Etu Pasifika Christchurch,Be responsible for managing the Ngalu Fanifo team on site and deputising for the Clinical Director to oversee the wider Ngalu Fanifo team during their absence,Work within the Ngalu Fanifo integrated service approach as well as the wider medical and Whanau ora teams including sharing care plans/handovers/information sharing regarding assessment and treatment of patients with Mental Health concerns,Assessment of Mental Health presentations and administration of screening tools including Kessler 10 and Edinburgh, AUDIT, ASSIST, and other relevant Mental Health screening tools.Cultural competency within Pacific communities,Fluency in a Pacific language(s).Benefits Include:5 Weeks Annual Leave,Wellness initiatives.Additional Information:This is not an exhaustive list of duties and requirements.
