Knowledge of the Mental Health Act would be an advantage; however, training will be provided for the successful candidate.As part of the Mental Health Act administration team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day processing of the mental health act. Your key responsibility is to ensure that the Mental Health Act legislation is documented and implemented correctly. This will be done in consultation with the clinical teams, Director of Area Mental Health Services (DAMHS), clients, their whanau, courts, and legal representatives.To be successful in this role you will need to be highly organised, good with processes, and be able to solve problems as they arise.
