This is a demanding role that requires outstanding coordination skills, the ability to work autonomously, and the initiative to manage a high level of administration tasks while interfacing with a large multidisciplinary team.After orientation to the role, you will be responsible for transcribing operation notes and clinical letters within certain timeframes.
You will work within a supportive multi-disciplinary team, providing a fun and friendly atmosphere.
The work is fast-paced and requires strict adherence to deadlines.
You must be confident with technology, including computer systems and Dictaphones, and possess the ability to type accurately with high attention to detail.
Discretion is essential as you will have access to patient information.
You may also assist other departments during staff leave or if they are struggling to meet typing deadlines.About YouThis role requires a typing speed of at least 70 words per minute.
Ideally, you will have medical typing experience or be an excellent typist with an interest in the health field.

The salary will be in accordance with the National Health Administration Workers Pay Scale, Band 3B, between $65,627 and $70,724 p.a.
