Having recently completed a large expansion of our South Auckland site and recently being acquired by Nestle Health Science which is part of the wider global Nestle FMCG business, we are looking to the future to build on our successes and expand our horizons.Role Specific Tasks:Develop the scientific strategy inline with the market business strategy and embedded with global medical affairs strategy:Develop plans for pre-launch market shaping activities within market channel providers.Collaborate in the cross-functional development of scientific marketing strategy.Provide ongoing medical and scientific input into scientific promotion of brands.Evaluate competitor healthcare strategies to ensure scientific leadership in the VMHS market.Anticipate future consequences and trends accurately and create action plans accordingly.Gather insights from external stakeholders to identify gaps in evidence.Share gaps in evidence with Category & Marketing teams to be incorporated into wider business strategy.Contribute to development of relevant evidence generation programs.Medical & Scientific Support:Provide scientific support for internal stakeholders for innovation/renovation/ registration.Involved and work closely with the brand team to develop informational, educational and nutritional; marketing materials and is responsible for the review and approval of them.Supports local regulatory teams in providing scientific substantiation for product innovation / renovation / claims generation / registration.Create response documents for different types of medical / scientific / HCP queries as necessary.Responsible for responding to inquiries from external customers and HCP's as well as internal stakeholders.Develop communication messages on all labels and consumer / medical communication material.Conceptualise and deliver logical presentation to establish scientific basis of product concept, indication and health claims for scientific events and brand activities.Medical Training:Responsible for designing & implementation of product education programs / events for local markets in collaboration with local market trainers / field sales.Responsible for developing internal educational / training relating to scientific and brand concepts, and scientific positioning of products for internal stakeholders.Develop accurate product manuals for all brands across the TBHC portfolio.Nutrition Safety Monitoring:Actively monitor and record issues relating to product safety in the market and ensure escalation to the right channel.Medical Information and CommunicationRespond to medical and scientific enquiries from external customers, HCPs and internal stakeholders.Ensure accuracy of nutritional and scientific claims in marketing strategy and materialsProvide clinical substantiation and messaging.The successful candidate will have:Qualification in either Naturopathy, Herbal Medicine, or Nutrition.At least 5 years' demonstrated experience in similar previous role.Existing industry experience in either Pharmacy, Health Food or VMs.Confident presenter to small & large audiences.Understanding of sales functions i.e. CCSD, Customer, Field Sales.Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop people.Understanding of the Nestle Leadership Principles and is prepared to shoulder the responsibility.VMHS knowledge - Expert knowledge of VMHS products & market.Customer understanding/Consumer In-sight - Ability to understand, competition and competitive environment, respond quickly to changing market conditions,Strategy - Ability to define clear objectives, strategies, action plans. Full understanding of company objectives, strategies, and culture.This is a high-energy role, which requires the ability to communicate across all levels of the business, internally and externally. You must have a good eye for detail, be a good team player, and be a problem solver.This is a full-time permanent role working Monday - Friday, office hours 8am - 5pm, with some flexibility.What we can provide:At TBHC, we followed our passion and instinct.
