General Medicine Registrars for 2025 – Rotorua Hospital, Lakes Join us for the 2025 training year as a Resident Medical Officer, specialising in General Medicine.
We have three full time positions open now at Rotorua Hospital, Lakes that start in January - however, we may have roles available with an immediate start as well.

What Lakes has to offer: Positions are recognized for FRACP both basic and advanced.You will enjoy a high level of support and training from consultants and other senior medical staff.Have the opportunity to teach other RMOs and Medical Students.Rotorua Hospital is a District General Hospital in one of the most spectacular regions of New Zealand – native bush, beautiful lakes and rivers, unique geothermal landscapes and some of the best mountain biking and walking/running trails in NZ.Rotorua is the perfect place to explore all that the North Island has to offer - it is only an hour from the spectacular east coast beaches, and an hour from stunning Lake Taupo with Mount Ruapehu offering skiing, tramping, fishing and water sports.

For international candidates, the following will also be required:
