About the position The medical receptionist plays a vital part in the day-to-day operation of our clinics; reporting to the clinic manager, you will be the first point of contact for all our patients walking through our clinic's door.
Our hybrid model clinic General Practitioner (GP) and Urgent Care (UC) is open from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 8 pm.
Key Responsibilities Making all visitors feel welcome Answering telephone calls and scheduling appointments You will need to have the following: Medical Reception experience is preferred but non-essential Strong attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Enjoy and thrive in a fast-paced & high-pressure environment Full driver's license and own transport desirable · Someone who is committed to the principles of health equity and cultural competency and who is able to demonstrate an understanding of Maori tikanga and kawa and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
