We are seeking a skilled, warm, and approachable individual to support our patients and clinical teams. You will join a dedicated and supportive First Impressions team, committed to ensuring a smooth and positive patient journey.
Role Overview: The First Impressions team often handles high-pressure situations, requiring the ability to prioritize tasks and manage patient expectations calmly and empathetically. This is not your typical reception job. The position requires a minimum of 36 hours per week. Please note that some evening and weekend work is required as part of a rotating roster system.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and ensure they feel welcome and comfortable.
Book, monitor, and reschedule appointments.
Accurately manage patient registrations, enrolments, and records, maintaining strict confidentiality.
Assess, process, and receipt charges accurately.
Proactively and reactively support the improvement of the patient journey.
About You: To excel in this role, you will need to be friendly, welcoming, and professional, with the ability to interact authentically with patients and staff. Demonstrating empathy and genuine care for people and the community is essential.
