Medical Receptionist / Administration

Vivian Medical Centre is a privately owned General Practice located centrally in New Plymouth.
We have a vacancy, working as a team member in reception and assisting with administration and accounts.
The role is part-time, 25 hours per week rostered Monday - Friday.
There may be additional Saturday work on the odd occasion assisting with Immigration clinics.
In addition to contracted hours further hours to cover sick and annual leave may be available.
Key Responsibilities: • Greet and check-in patients with a friendly & professional demeanor • Manage phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries, providing accurate information and assistance • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of time and resources • Manage patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times • Handle medical billing and assist with debt management • Provide administration and accounting support as required Flexibility to cover additional shifts due to leave About You: • Experience as a receptionist or similar role, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 office software, Medtech or a similar practice management system • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
