Ideally, we are after a Medical Imaging Technologist highly experienced in general X-ray and could work in another scope of practice e.g., CT or MRI.Role: Medical Radiation TechnologistHours: Full time or part time consideredContract: PermanentLocation: Dunedin (Otago Region)An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic team in Dunedin. As an MRT, you will perform general x-ray, theatre, and mobile imaging providing a welcoming, accurate and responsive imaging service to Pacific Radiology's patients and referrers.Ideally, you will be a Medical Radiation Technologist experienced in general X-ray. We are focused on supporting our people through continuing professional development (CPD) to build a long-term career within Pacific Radiology.Your responsibilities will include:Producing high quality images according to company protocols and accepted radiology practiceRecording information in the relevant Radiology Information SystemDemonstrating diagnostic imaging of good quality and in line with published imaging protocolsProviding excellent communication skills both written and verbalMaintaining accurate patient data and ensuring all administrative processes are complete including paperwork for all examinationsWe offer:Competitive salaryExcellent work/life balanceGenerous leave entitlements including 5 weeks annual leave, 5 days domestic leave (both pro-rated for part time)Professional development with support for your ongoing growthThe opportunity to work alongside our great staff.To be considered for this role you must be registered with the New Zealand MRTB and hold a current annual practicing certificate.
