About the Role
Due to an internal move, we are looking for a Medical Operations Manager to join our Auckland team. Reporting to the Medical Director, this role will deliver operational effectiveness of the Medical Department through the implementation of Medical Transformation in the Medical NZ Pharma business.
This encompasses implementing Medical Transformation process changes whilst maintaining compliance in the NZ Pharma business through Risk Management forums and being proficient in the preparation of regular LOC and above country metrics reports.
The role also focuses on driving medical excellence across the medical team.
As a key member of the close-knit medical team, you will drive the execution of key transformational projects. The projects will vary from time to time but are likely to include major initiatives driven by the Medical Transformation process, maintaining effective Medical Governance, Risk Management and complying with the evolving copy approval process and reporting schedule.
Your role will be varied and will include :
Leading and effectively executing key projects
Providing medical input and assisting the market access head and team in managing established brands portfolio
Ensuring clinical, ethical and regulatory compliance
Leading medical activity required to support established brands
Driving medical excellence within the New Zealand medical team
About you?
To be successful in the role, you will have experience in Medical Affairs (as an MSL or similar role) and have developed commercial acumen, high levels of energy and pro-activity, high calibre Project Management skills, first class communication and interpersonal skills.
You'll also possess :
Tertiary Degree in Science or Health qualification, Marketing, Management or Commerce, preferably augmented with business experience
End to end Project Management experience & capability managing projects with an understanding of either ADP or Project Management
Business acumen
Strong influencing capability to lead without authority to drive cross functional teams
