We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Oncologist to join our friendly team in Dunedin Hospital on a permanent basis.The Southern Blood & Cancer Service provides a team of 8 Medical Oncologists and 1 nurse practitioner, 5 Radiation Oncologists and 6 Haematologists working in a tertiary referral centre with strong links to the School of Medicine at Otago University. Dunedin Hospital is a 350-bed teaching and training institution that offers a full complement of sub-specialities and a training site for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. As such we encourage and support staff research and their continuing medical education. Our Service has a solid research program and we would welcome applications from Physicians with a sub-speciality interest or those with an interest in teaching.Our Service provides regional care and covers the lower South Island, so you would be required to participate in outreach clinics to peripheral centres.
