You will have a supportive team, made up of Oncologists, Registrar and Cancer Nurse Specialists, Annual Continuing Medical Education Funding and an opportunity to provide specialised care across inpatient, outpatient and day patient settings.The Eligibility Criteria for this role:Qualifications recognised for specialist registration with the New Zealand Medical CouncilCurrent Annual Practising CertificateBe able to work under pressure and prioritise a heavy clinical workloadHave excellent written and communication skillsDemonstrate a team approach to work and a collaborative working relationship with managementA relevant graduate and post-graduate qualification.Understanding in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action.A valid, NZ driver's license and ability to drive to peripheral oncology clinicsHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Lakes provides healthcare from its two modern and progressive general hospitals in Rotorua and Taupo, New Zealand.
The Lakes district is well known for its many outdoor recreational activities such as mountain biking, skiing, and fishing.
