Mo te turanga / About the role We have recently been appointed another full-time oncologist appointment for the Lakes district, Rotorua/Taupo Hospitals. You will have a supportive team made up of Oncologists, Registrar, and Cancer Nurse Specialists, Annual Continuing Medical Education Funding, and an opportunity to provide specialised care across inpatient, outpatient, and day patient settings.

The Eligibility Criteria for this role: Qualifications recognised for specialist registration with the New Zealand Medical Council Current Annual Practising Certificate Be able to work under pressure and prioritise a heavy clinical workload Have excellent written and communication skills Demonstrate a team approach to work and a collaborative working relationship with management A relevant graduate and post-graduate qualification. Understanding in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action. A valid, NZ driver's license and ability to drive to peripheral oncology clinics Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Lakes provides healthcare from its two modern and progressive general hospitals in Rotorua and Taupo, New Zealand.
