The role focuses on recruitment, rostering, and contract management of Senior and Resident Medical Officers, and reports to the Group Director of Operations at Rotorua Hospital.Mo koe | About youWe are looking for someone who:Possesses an HR background preferably in recruitment, has qualifications in HR & Management relevant to this roleHas experience in leading and managing a small team and running the office (highly desirable)Has experience in a health and/or health related field (desirable but not essential)Has knowledge and understanding of rostering, leave management according to contract agreementsHas strong numerical/financial and writing skills and is competent in verbal, written and presentation skillsHas intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office suiteHas full NZ drivers' licence (as some travel to Taupo hospital will be required)Knowledge of Te Tiriti, and a commitment to correct pronunciation of Te ReoYou should have:A high commitment to the public health system and is passionate about service delivery in healthcarePeople relationship and engagement skills in building professional and respectful relationships with medical staffHigh attention to detail, timely delivery of outcomes, a focus on getting it right and going the extra mile when requiredCommitment to robust systems and processes within the unit to ensure consistency of service deliveryRobust time management and skills to balance key priorities personally within the teamCommitment to working positively and collaboratively with medical staff and Service Managers dailyResponsibility for the unit and the provision of services across the organisationMo Tatou | About usHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Lakes provides healthcare from its two modern and progressive general hospitals in Rotorua and Taupo, New Zealand.
