About the role Using state-of-the-art technology, the Donation Accreditation team ensures that blood and blood products are safe for clinical use by conducting essential testing.
We are seeking dynamic individuals who are enthusiastic to join a small, friendly, and committed team of professionals as part of an organisation that values its people and is committed to the delivery of safe products and services.
Your base salary will be between $63,842 to $84,193 depending on skills, experience and registration.
About you To be successful in working in this laboratory, you will thrive in a regulatory environment and exhibit a proactive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
You will also have a positive attitude and have the flexibility to fully participate in our roster that includes evening, weekend, and on-call work.
Key Qualifications and Attributes Registration, or eligibility for registration as a Medical Laboratory Technician with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand.
A strong background in working within a regulatory framework.
A collaborative spirit capable of enhancing a small, quality-driven team.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and patient care.
Desirable Experience Prior hands-on experience in a laboratory setting, especially in areas of immunohaematology, quality control, and infectious disease testing, will be highly regarded.
Experience in blood banking, immunology, serology, blood grouping, and nucleic acid testing analysers will be advantageous.
