About the role
The National Reference Laboratory is based in Epsom and has a strong team-based structure, performing a variety of pre-transfusion testing. The role involves:
Investigating antibody problems and provision of cross-matched bloodResolving ABO and Rh(D) typing problemsMonitoring levels (by titration) of antibodies found during routine antenatal screeningEnsuring that all activities are carried out in a manner that complies with national defined quality standards, accreditation licensing and legislative requirementsSolving complex and difficult red cell antigen/antibody problems with the use of red cell genotyping and a unique collection of rare typing sera and rare red cells.The role will require you to participate, when competent, in a 24/7 out of hours on-call service equally divided amongst the Reference team.
Your base salary will be between $74,842 and $104,466 depending on skills, experience and registration. We can offer you:
