Medical Laboratory Scientist - Hamilton Blood BankFast paced, interesting and varied workPermanent, full timeHamilton basedAbout the roleMedical Laboratory Scientists within the Blood Bank are responsible for performing a range of duties related to pre transfusion, antenatal and diagnostic testing and the issue of blood and blood products for clinical purposes.This role is a full time position with 80 hours per fortnight, fully participating in our 24/7 roster including on-call duties as rostered.Your base salary will be between $69,000 and $104,466 (increasing to $71,070 and $107,600 from 2 Dec 2024) depending on skills, experience and registration.About youTo be successful in this role you must be registered as a Medical Laboratory Scientist with the Medical Sciences Council of NZ, or you will be seeking to complete your intern requirements before registration with MSCNZ.
