Medical Laboratory Scientist, Haematology Laboratory, Middlemore HospitalMedical Laboratory Scientist, Haematology Laboratory, Te Whatu Ora – Counties ManukauThis position is a Core Children's worker under the Children's Act & requires full safety checks completed before any new employee starts.DescriptionPermanent role 40 hours/week.If you enjoy a challenge and have a passion for Haematology, then why not come and join our dynamic Haematology department at Te Whatu Ora - Counties Manukau?We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team in the Haematology Laboratory at Middlemore Hospital. Middlemore Hospital is a 950 bed hospital and is one of New Zealand's busiest and most diverse teaching hospitals.Our Haematology department provides a 24-hour service for Middlemore and Kidz First Hospitals and the Manukau Health Park. We perform a range of diagnostic haematology testing using automated systems for cell counts, cell morphology, and coagulation testing.We currently have a vacancy for a permanent evening shift position, Monday – Friday, 1500-2330.
