Permanent, full time 1.0FTE (40-hours per week) Whangarei Hospital Are you looking for a great opportunity working in beautiful Northland within a progressive Pathology Services team?
About the role: Achieving the best health outcomes for our patients starts with expecting the best from ourselves, and right now Health New Zealand Northland is looking for an exceptional Medical Laboratory Scientist to join the Pathology team at Whangarei Hospital.
The primary function of this role is to contribute as an effective member of the Northland Pathology Services team, Auto-Lab (Haematology and Biochemistry) to provide a quality & safe pathology service that ensures timely, accurate results to pathology laboratory users.
This is a permanent 1.0 FTE position, working 40 hours per week.
Essential requirements: NZ registered and licenced Medical Laboratory Scientist.
Work experience in a Medical Laboratory Work experience with Laboratory Information System The successful applicant would benefit from having the: Ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team member.
A basic understanding of health/illness and prevention of infection is desirable, however not essential to apply.
