Awanui Labs - Queenstown is owned by Awanui Group (previously known as Asia Pacific Healthcare Group), a healthcare company committed to providing facilities and services that deliver exceptional care to its clients.About the role | Mo te turanga:The Frankton based laboratory provides pathology services to the community and needs a registered Technician with a current Active Practicing Certificate (APC). We will also consider applications from the right new graduate who wishes to gain a good, all-round, practical grounding in an exciting and fast-paced environment or a technician that has the ability to do the post graduate qualification to then register as a technician.This is a full-time permanent role, 80 hours per fortnight and will include working on the weekend and rostered shifts as required.To be considered for this role you will have:NZ Medical Science Council Registration and a current Annual Practicing CertificateA background in Haematology / BiochemistryAttention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressureTo be flexible and willing to participate in working the different shifts as requiredTo be customer focused and committed to the provision of a high-quality service, with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.Valid NZ work visa or NZ/AUS citizen.What's in it for you | He aha mou:A friendly and supportive team environment.The opportunity to develop your skills and career as a Medical Lab technicianAccess to EAP and Health & Wellbeing programPlease note, we will review applications as we receive them.
