Our team consists of talented and skilled individuals, all of whom play an important role in helping us to be New Zealand's leading provider of quality private healthcare services.Our busy Dunedin Laboratory provides service to both the Hospital and Community and is looking for a suitably qualified Medical Laboratory Technician to work in the Biochemistry department. The department is well-equipped with modern analysers and automated systems. Your role will see you performing laboratory testing with a high degree of skill and confidence.This is a full-time permanent role (40 hours per week) to support the department during afternoon shifts. Core hours are Monday to Friday 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm, but as the essential service we provide 24/7 also demands flexibility with the successful candidate possibly being required during weekends.Our ideal candidate will have the following:Full registration or eligibility to register with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand.A current Annual or Interim Practicing Certificate.Experience within the discipline of Biochemistry would be an advantage.Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team are key attributes.What's in it for you | Nou te rourouYou will be joining a friendly, high-performing, and forward-thinking team environment.
