Medical Lab Scientist/Technician - Automation Permanent Full-time Masterton About the company: Awanui Labs Masterton (previously known as Wellington SCL) provides high-quality diagnostic pathology services to the community, healthcare professionals, and their patients.
Awanui Labs Masterton is owned by Awanui Group (previously known as APHG), a healthcare company committed to providing facilities and services that deliver exceptional care to its clients.
About the role: Our Automation department is currently on the hunt for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and competent Medical Laboratory Scientist.
This is a Full-time permanent position of 80 hours per fortnight.
Our Masterton lab is based at Wairarapa Hospital.
To succeed in this role you will need: The ability to work in a methodical manner adhering to strict quality procedure guidelines.
A team focus with initiative, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Excellent attention to detail, with good record-keeping skills.
The ability to work independently while in a supported role.
Registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
You will be required to participate in our evening and weekend rosters.
Eligibility to work in NZ.
